Your first matches

General advice for the genre. Each game’s own tutorial has the exact rules.

  1. Know what you protect

    Find the objective and what counts as a loss, then follow the route from entrance to exit. Look for bends where one tower can cover more path.

  2. Learn each tower

    Read the description and range indicator. Damage is one factor; some towers hit groups, slow enemies or suit certain targets.

  3. Mix new and better

    A new position widens coverage; an upgrade strengthens one you own. Ask where enemies actually leak before buying.

  4. Read the enemy

    Speed, protection and movement type change which tools work. Notice what keeps surviving.

  5. Change one thing

    After a loss, adjust one position or one upgrade time. In versus play, remember your rival’s choices matter too.

  6. Check purchase prompts

    Read the amount, currency and item before confirming, and whether the offer repeats. Dismiss what you do not want.
